It is with great pride that Auburn Islamic Community Centre participated in National Tree Day on the 31st of July, 2016. It involved members of the community both young and old getting their hands dirty as they planted trees. Trees are an important part of the natural ecosystem and provide shelter for animals and insects as well as purifying the air we breath.
It was a fun and therapeutic day for all involved.
